Technique
On [] patient was given [15.0] millicuries of FDG intravenously while semisupine in the resting state. [Low concentration oral contrast was administered.] Approximately one hour post injection of radiotracer, PET-CT images were obtained from the base of the skull to the mid thigh using Siemens Biograph LSO 40-slice CT. Fusion of PET and CT images was performed for anatomic correlation.
